This is not detailing; it is resurfacing. We sand and level the gel coat to remove heavy oxidation, then refine and lock it in with a marine-grade ceramic coating.

02. The Science

Gel Coat vs.
Clear Coat.

Automotive paint is thin and sealed with clear coat. Marine gel coat is thick, porous, and unsealed.

Why boats chalk: UV rays dry out the pores of the gel coat, causing the surface to turn into a dead, white powder (oxidation).

How we fix it: We abrade (sand/compound) the dead layer off to reach the healthy, hydrated gel coat underneath. Then, we must seal it immediately with Marine Ceramic or it will oxidize again within weeks.

Pricing Variables

"Starting At" pricing is based on LOA (Length Overall) and standard beam. Excessive oxidation, mold, interior condition, or cabin cruisers with significant surface area will adjust the price.
